1. Introduction and Acceptance of Policy
This document outlines the official policies, rules, and regulations for all activities conducted at Studio Aire ("the Studio"). This Policy applies universally to all individuals who enter the Studio premises, including but not limited to members, students, class attendees, private renters, guests, and event participants (collectively, "Participants").
Acceptance of this Policy is a condition of entry. By entering the Studio, utilizing its facilities, or participating in any offering, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions outlined herein.
2. General Conduct and Safety
- • All Participants must foster a safe, respectful, and positive environment. Harassment or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
- • Safety is the responsibility of every Participant. Please be mindful of your own physical limitations and the space of others.
- • Report any injuries, safety concerns, or damaged equipment to Studio staff immediately.
- • The instructions of Studio staff and instructors must be followed at all times.
3. Permitted Use of Studio and Equipment
- • Authorized Activities: The Studio is to be used for approved fitness, dance, and aerial arts and any acceptable activities by management only.
- • Unauthorized Instruction: Unauthorized instruction, coaching, workshops, or classes are strictly prohibited. All teaching activities must be pre-approved in writing by Studio management.
- • Commercial Use: Using the Studio for commercial purposes, including marketing other fitness spaces, professional photoshoots, or filming, requires prior written approval from Studio management.
- • Safe Progression: Participants are prohibited from attempting skills or movements that are beyond their current training level without the direct supervision of a qualified instructor. The Studio does not provide spotting or supervision during open studio or rental times.
4. Facility Rules and Etiquette
- • Footwear and Attire: Clean, non-marking indoor shoes, dance-specific footwear, or bare feet are required in the studio rooms. Street shoes must be removed upon entry and stored in designated areas. Appropriate athletic attire that matches the performed exercise or activity must be worn at all times; partial or full nudity is strictly prohibited.
- • Equipment Care: Only Studio-provided 70% isopropyl alcohol and designated microfiber cloths may be used to clean equipment. The use of unauthorized liquids, abrasive materials, or unapproved grip aids is forbidden. Jewelry (rings, bracelets, watches) that could scratch or damage the equipment must be removed before use.
- • Mirrors: Participants must not touch, lean on, or make contact with the mirrors. Please maintain a safe distance during all activities to prevent accidents.
- • Aerial and Pole Safety:
- o Hanging from the ceiling grid or support structures is strictly prohibited.
o For safety, climbing to the absolute top of the poles or apparatuses is discouraged.
o Critical: The three (3) aerial points nearest the main mirror wall are designated for static aerial yoga and stretching ONLY. Dynamic movements, drops, or high-load skills are strictly forbidden on these points. - • Food and Drink: Water in a sealed, shatter-proof container is permitted. All other food and open-container drinks are prohibited inside the training areas.
- • Prohibited Items: Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited anywhere on Studio property.
5. Damage, Liability, and Personal Property
- • Responsibility for Damage: Participants are financially responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement of any Studio property they damage, whether intentionally or through negligence. This includes but is not limited to mirrors, poles, aerial rigs, sound systems, and flooring.
- • Liability and Assumption of Risk: Participation in activities at the Studio involves inherent risks of injury. All Participants voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks of injury, loss, or property damage. Studio Aire, its owners, instructors, and staff are not liable for any injury sustained by Participants on the premises.
- • Personal Belongings: The Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Please secure your valuables.
6. Scheduling, Punctuality, and Cancellations
- • Your booking, class, or rental time begins and ends precisely as scheduled. Time will not be extended due to late arrival. Please vacate the space promptly at the end of your session to respect the schedule of others.
- • All cancellations must adhere to the Studio's official cancellation policy, as stated at the time of booking. No-shows and late cancellations are not eligible for a refund, credit, or rescheduling.
7. Class Use and Group Conduct
Regularly scheduled classes are instructional fitness sessions and are not intended to be used as parties, celebrations, or social gatherings. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful of the instructor, other students, and the learning environment. Any individual or group that treats a class as a party, celebration, or otherwise engages in disruptive behavior—including excessive noise, interruptions, or conduct that interferes with instruction—may be removed from the class at the studio’s discretion. Such removal will be considered a violation of studio policy, and no refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued.
8. Photo & Video Policy
By participating in classes, workshops, or events at the studio, clients acknowledge and agree that photographs, video recordings, and other media may be captured during class time or studio activities. Such media may be used by the studio for commercial, promotional, marketing, and educational purposes, including but not limited to use on social media platforms, websites, and other advertising or promotional materials, without compensation or additional consent. Failure to provide such notice constitutes consent. The studio shall not be held liable for the use of a client’s image, likeness, or performance if the client did not notify the studio of their preference to opt out.
- • Clients who do not wish to appear in photos or videos are solely responsible for notifying the studio in writing prior to participating in any class or activity where media may be recorded.
9. Guests and Spectators
The Studio is a training-focused environment. Spectators, friends, or family members (including children) are not permitted in the studio rooms during classes or rentals unless it is a designated public event or with explicit prior permission from management.
10. Right to Refuse Service and Removal
The studio reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse service to or remove any participant from a class or the premises if their behavior or condition is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate, including but not limited to participants who appear to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment, coordination, or safety; whose conduct endangers themselves or others; or whose actions interfere with instruction or disrupt the learning environment. This policy also applies to participants whose personal hygiene is so poor that it becomes disruptive or negatively impacts the comfort, safety, or experience of others in the class. Such decisions are made to protect the health, safety, and overall experience of all participants and staff, and no refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued in the event of removal under this policy.
11. Enforcement and Policy Updates
- • Enforcement: Failure to comply with any part of this Policy may result in immediate removal from the premises without refund and a potential ban from future entry.
- • Right to Amend: Studio Aire reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time at its sole discretion. The most current version of the Policy will be posted within the Studio and/or on our official website. Continued use of the Studio constitutes acceptance of any and all policy changes.
